Site Title

This tribute was named Desolate Skies because I have an affinity towards all things sky-related and the word desolate popped in my head as I was trying to find a word that made me think of Lockon as well as to match with sky. Originally, I was going to call this Requiem, but decided against it since the name itself would have given too much away. Only afterwards, did I realize Ash Like Snow, the second opening song, had a verse in the translated lyrics that said "my hopes were alone in the desolate night sky."

The naming was a coincidence, but I guess it worked out in the end. And since I named this project so, the name has stuck, and when Shinju and I both had sky related names for our Lockon tributes, I thought it said something about how we thought of Lockon.
