Why Lockon?

I guess the question should be, "why not?" Lockon, from the very beginning, made an impression on me. He was always up there with my favorite character, Allelujah Haptism. Everything from his interactions with everyone in Celestial Being to how he piloted was all fun to watch. His life and story single handedly affected me the most from the anime. What he lived for, as well as what he was willing to give up, moved me. Neil Dylandy will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope to show some of that with this site.

In addition, I've always been fascinated by people who swear themselves to revenge, like Uchiha Sasuke of Naruto, Ryu Soma of Argento Soma, and Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass. Lockon is definitely in there with the others, so this is built, as Tieria Erde put it, "for the sake of Lockon!" Besides those, Lockon is one of those imperfect characters we can love, because of his flaws. He isn't perfect, and he wasn't meant to be that way. He's someone we can sympathize with, someone who feels real.

And lastly, I have to thank Shinju for getting me to work on this eventually. Because she was also making a tribute to Lockon, I thought we could both do ours and make it a joint release. So after months of planning, I finally started working on this site.
